Richard Hurley, RIP

Message from the Parish of Longford:

CATHEDRAL ARCHITECT - On Wednesday last we received the sad news that the lead Architect to the Cathedral Restoration Project Dr Richard Hurley took ill on the previous evening and died shortly afterwards. We were deeply shocked to hear of Richard’s sudden passing. He had invested himself with great passion and energy in the Restoration Project and all through this year had been developing the future internal layout in consultation with the Diocesan Committee. We acknowledge his commitment and vision for the Cathedral and offer our sympathies to his wife and family. May he rest in peace.
